How to Enable and Use the Sign Pad Feature in Easy InnKeeping

1. Enabling the Sign Pad (Guest Signature) Feature

  1. Go to Setup → Front Office → Basic → Default Settings.

  2. Under Invoice Settings, enable the Guest Signature option.

  3. Once enabled, the “Sign Pad” icon will appear on the left pane of the Easy InnKeeping main page.


2. How It Works in a Reservation

Step 1 — Send Signature Request

  1. Open any existing reservation, or create a new one.

  2. Go to the Billing tab.

  3. Scroll down until you see the “Sign Invoice” button.

  4. Click Sign Invoice to send a signature request to the guest.

    • You will see an alert: “Signature request sent successfully.”

Step 2 — Open the Sign Pad

  1. On the left menu of Easy InnKeeping, click the “Sign Pad” button.

  2. A confirmation alert will appear asking if you want to switch to Sign Pad mode.

    • Click Yes.

  3. A new window will open. It may take about 2 seconds to fetch the reservation associated with the signature request.

  4. The system will load the invoice page of that reservation in signature mode.

  5. Scroll down to the signature box where the guest can sign.

  6. Save the signature once completed.


3. Viewing the Guest Signature

  1. Open the reservation again.

  2. Go to the History tab.

  3. Look for the field named “Guest Signature.”

  4. Open the email linked in that column.

  5. The guest’s captured signature will be displayed.
